Irony of the Indian Media

  MEDIA is the fourth pillar of the Indian Constitution ✋ Each pillar must act within its domain but not lose sight of the larger picture said  the current vice-president  "M. Venkaiah Naidu". India is the world's most populous democracy with over 1.4B population. Freedom of the Press is legally protected by the Amendment to the Constitution of India. Still, Indian Media ranks 142 among 180 countries released by the 2020 WPFI (World Press Freedom Index) down 2 places from 2019.  This isn't the first time we have witnessed such a downgrade in the ranking. Starting with rank 80 in 2002, 122 in 2010, and 131 in 2012 now we are at 142.   I am not here to accuse the media or to point out the Lows of Indian Media but to figure out why such a ranking and we are close in ranking to our neighbouring countries like Pakistan.   Farewell…Does it hurts The answer is yes…Saying goodbye always hurts Hey guys this is Ritesh Bhatt from IEC College of Engineering and Technology Greater Noida. It was t h e time after the 2nd wave of Corona (COVID 19) and we had just came from our homes. We already wasted our Best one year at home during lockdown it was just the beginning of our 4th sem when Corona strike us for the very first time and our precious friendship days took a slight break which wasn’t slight in any manner.
